Privacy Policy

At Color Command (the "Application", "we", "us", "our"), developed and published by Brilworks, we take your privacy and the protection of your personal information with absolute seriousness. This Privacy Policy describes what information is collected, processed, and maintained when you download, install, and play the Color Command mobile application on Android and iOS devices.

Privacy-First Core Philosophy

Color Command is fully engineered to run locally and safely. We do not require account registration, email sign-ups, or social media links to play. Your core gameplay progress and data are entirely yours, kept directly on your device.

1. Information We Collect & Process

Because our application operates locally on your physical device, data collection is strictly divided into two distinct categories: direct local storage and third-party automated metadata.

A. Data Stored Locally (Under Your Exclusive Control)

The following categories of data are generated during gameplay. They are written to and processed directly inside the Application's secure sandbox on your device's physical storage (e.g., local storage/cache):

Note: This data is stored locally and is never transmitted to our external servers. You hold total control over this data.

B. Automatically Processed Metadata (Non-Personally Identifiable)

To analyze game speed performance, squash software bugs, and resolve crashes on complex devices, our third-party infrastructure may process general diagnostic metrics. This information is purely technical and cannot be used to identify you personally:

2. Advertising & Third-Party SDK Integrations

To support ongoing development while providing the game free of charge, Color Command integrates advertising services from Google AdMob. Google AdMob utilizes dedicated software development kits (SDKs) embedded directly inside the Application to deliver visual banner and interstitial ads.

Third-Party Service Purpose Data Processed Policy Link
Google AdMob Serving Banner and Rewarded Interstitial advertisements Mobile Advertising Identifiers (Apple IDFA, Google GAID), IP address, and general ad interaction logs Google Privacy Policy
Expo Framework Underlying application runtime & build infrastructure Anonymous technical diagnostic logs, runtime crash logs (where applicable) Expo Privacy Policy

Strict Ad Customization: In accordance with our design philosophy, all ad requests initiated by Color Command are customized to request non-personalized ads only. This prevents AdMob from tracking your cross-app browser history or building advertising profiles around you.

3. Managing Your Mobile Advertising Identifiers

Your mobile device operates unique software identifiers—the **Advertising ID** on Android and the **IDFA** on iOS. These identifiers are designed to help companies control ad frequency and manage fraud, but you can restrict, reset, or completely delete these identifiers at any time via your device settings:

For iOS Devices (iPhone / iPad)

  1. 1 Open the system Settings app on your Apple device.
  2. 2 Scroll down and tap into the Privacy & Security category.
  3. 3 Select Tracking.
  4. 4 Toggle off Allow Apps to Request to Track completely, or restrict permission specifically for Color Command.

For Android Devices

  1. 1 Open your device's Settings.
  2. 2 Navigate to Google or Google Services, then select Ads.
  3. 3 Tap either Reset advertising ID or Delete advertising ID to remove cross-app identifiers completely.

4. Children's Privacy Compliance (COPPA & Play Store Family Policy)

We are fully dedicated to protecting children's privacy. Color Command does not knowingly or intentionally collect, request, or maintain any personal data from children under the age of 13 (or under the age of 16 in certain European jurisdictions).

If you are a parent or guardian and believe that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately. We will promptly take necessary steps to wipe any such information from our records.

5. International Regulatory Disclosures

A. California Privacy Rights (CCPA / CPRA Compliance)

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), California residents have the right to request access to, deletion of, and correction of their personal data, as well as the right to opt-out of the "sale" or "sharing" of their personal information.

Explicit Disclosure: We do not collect direct personal information (PII) like names, phone numbers, or email addresses. We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your personal data with third parties. Non-personalized mobile ad identifiers are shared with Google AdMob exclusively for essential business purposes (frequency capping and security logs).

B. European Union & UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)

For users residing within the European Economic Area (EEA), Switzerland, or the United Kingdom, you hold specific rights under GDPR, including the right to access, rectify, or erase your personal data, and the right to object to or restrict processing.

6. Data Retention & Permanent Erasure

Because all scoreboards, ranks, preferences, and configs are saved directly within the physical sandbox on your own device, we do not host or store your game data on our external database systems.

How to Permanently Delete Your Data

You can immediately and permanently erase all game data, historical scores, streaks, haptic preferences, and cached configurations yourself by performing either of the following actions:

  1. Wiping the Application's storage and cache in your mobile device's system settings.
  2. Completely uninstalling the Color Command application from your mobile device.

7. Security Safeguards

We are dedicated to safeguarding your information. Since all core game metrics are isolated locally on your device, they are shielded by your operating system's native sandboxing protocols. For any diagnostic metadata transferred to third-party SDKs (such as AdMob), transport-layer encryption (HTTPS/TLS) is systematically enforced to prevent intercept attacks.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to revise or update this Privacy Policy at any time. When modifications are finalized, the updated version will be hosted on this page, and the "Last updated" date at the top will be revised accordingly. We encourage you to review this page periodically to remain informed about how we protect your privacy.
